Introducing: The Women Who

I have some pretty amazing women in my life.

It starts with my mom. She’s a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, but also one of the most creative, intuitive people I know. Her mother, my grandmother, was just as inspiring: a Jewish girl growing up in the South at a time when equality wasn’t a given. She was a fierce connector, a great communicator, endlessly imaginative, and a true friend.

Both my mother and grandmother were the kind of women who kept childhood friendships alive for a lifetime. I am lucky to have been raised surrounded by my mom’s closest friends, women who were like extended family. They took me on adventures, opened my eyes to different ways of working, raising families, and living life with intention. It made for a rich, and layered upbringing.

As the Emma Rothkopf brand grows and finds its way into more of your lives, I want to share some of that wisdom, warmth, and joy with you.

This is the start of a new series and an ongoing conversation with the women who inspire me. I’ll be interviewing my mom (if she agrees!), my oldest and dearest friends, newer friendships, and women I admire from near and far.

I hope these conversations bring you something. Whether it’s a moment of reflection, a new way of seeing the world, or simply the comfort of hearing from someone real and relatable.

Thanks for being here.
Stay tuned for more to come.
