About
Emma Rothkopf is a line of seasonless, small batch clothing characterized by timeless design in natural materials. Thoughtfully made using unique deadstock, organic, and natural fabrics to be long-lasting additions to any wardrobe.
The line began in 2019 after moving from New York to Utah. With the time and space provided by the vast landscape of the Mountain West, Emma was inspired to make garments that transition between country and city with ease.
Emma’s design sensibility is deeply rooted in her experiences of clothes: her mother’s 1960s and 1970s pieces instilled a love for vintage aesthetics, while her time as a collegiate soccer player influenced her focus on practical and comfortable wear.
Her family had a denim and underwear store on the Lower East Side of New York, where her father worked as a boy. Stories of 1960s New York and the bustling shop shaped how she sees clothing bring people together and enhance their lives. Emma now lives and works in Los Angeles, continuing to use her experiences in the world to influence and evolve the brand.
